Tips to ensure every order reaches your doorstep when you expect it

A missed delivery can be frustrating. While we put in the effort do our utmost to get every order to you on time, a little extra collaboration can go a long way. With accurate details, timely communication, and clear instructions, we can better ensure that your order arrives just as you want it to. Below, you’ll see how by working together we can make every delivery a special delivery.

Always double-check your details

The first step to ensuring successful deliveries is making sure all your provided details are accurate. Is your delivery address and contact information – especially your phone number – up-to-date? Of course it is, but it’s always worth double-checking.

For deliveries to a one-time use address, here’s what you can do:

  1. Navigate to the “Select order type” section at Checkout.
  2. Tick the box labelled “Deliver to a one-time address”.
  3. Input the one-time address into the “Choose delivery location” field.
  4. Click ‘Continue’ to save and confirm your changes.

Keep an eye on the time

Being available around during your expected delivery window is crucial. Our delivery team may need to reach out to you via SMS or a phone call. And remember,  you can always track your order through both BEA and our portal.

Guide your delivery drivers with clear instructions

Sometimes, ensuring a successful delivery means providing a little more information. By offering clear notes for your driver, you can make the delivery process smooth and hassle-free.

Here’s how you can add a note for your driver:

  1. Proceed to ‘Checkout’.
  2. Click ‘edit’ in the ‘Select a time’ section.
  3. Scroll down to ‘Notes for your driver’.
  4. Enter your specific instructions in the provided box.
  5. Click ‘Continue’ to save your edits.

Every additional piece of detail helps; it’s all essential for our drivers to ensure your orders are delivered correctly and on time.

Examples of helpful notes:

  • If someone else is accepting the delivery on your behalf, mention their name and provide a contact number
  • Specify a particular entrance if your delivery location has multiple access points
  • If you have unique requirements for the delivery, such as ringing the doorbell a specific way, make sure to mention it.
